GRADUATION - IMPORTANT DATES AND TIMES


GRADUATION CEREMONY:

Date: Wednesday June 26th, 2024 at 10:30am (Graduates must arrive by 9:30am)

Location: Sixteen Mile Creek

3070 Neyagawa Boulevard, Oakville


GRADUATION MASS & BREAKFAST:

Date: Tuesday June 25th, 2024 @11:00 am.

Location: Chinese Catholic Church (neighbouring our school)

Families are welcome to attend.

Refreshments to follow in school foyer after mass.


GRADUATION FEE: $95.00

The graduation fee to be paid via Schoolcash online by March 25th, 2024


GRADUATION GOWN PICK-UP:

TBA

Graduation gowns will be distributed after the graduation mass at the school.

GRADUATION GOWN SIZING

The size of a graduation gown is determined by the wearer’s height. The gown is designed to reach down to the wearer’s mid-calf. Height should be measured with flat shoes or barefoot – no heels, from top of the head to bottom of the foot.

The prom forms must be completed by all Prom table attendees. Form will be collected by your designated Table Captain prior to picking up tickets and selecting a table.

Prom seats can be purchased between Now until April 26th

Prom Attendees are those

born between 2004 and 2007

In order to maintain a safe and fun Prom evening, all Prom attendees must follow the rules and regulations set out here.

Tables can be selected beginning April 26th until May 7th

Prom ticket covers the following:

1) Event Room at Le Treport Wedding and Convention Centre

2) Reception Appetizers, Beverages

3) Full service dinner including a mini buffet in the later evening

PROM READY CHECKLIST

1) Who would I like to sit with for Prom dinner?

Max 10 per table. Less than 8 ppl/table, we will combine attendees.


2) Choose a "Table Captain".


3) Fill out the Prom contract, print and give to my table captain.


4) Purchase a seat on SCO, print the receipt (If I am bringing a guest, buy a seat for my guest). Give all forms and receipts to the table captain.


5) 'Table Captain"- submit all table attendee forms and SCO receipts. You can now select a table. Table selection April 26th to May 7th.



All Prom forms must be filled out, printed and given to your "Table Captain" to submit on your behalf.

Once seats have been purchased and all Prom Forms have been completed,

your Table Captain will bring in all table member forms.


Tables can be chosen between April 26th and May 7th.



PROM RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Students are expected to follow the Catholic School Code of Conduct www.dpcdsb.org/students/catholic-code-of-conduct.


2. Students who damage the Venue in any way will be held responsible for all costs ensued to repair damages done there.


3. Students who have been suspended from school may not attend a function if it occurs during the period of suspension. The ticket price will not be refunded.


4. Students will be responsible for any guest. ONE GUEST per person. Guest contract must be signed. Guest must be born between 2004 and 2007. Any guest who is not a current student must submit photo ID to the table captain.


5. Students and/or guests who leave the Prom for any reason will not be readmitted. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO IN AND OUT PRIVILEGES. Tickets are not transferable.


6. St. Francis Xavier Secondary School does not assume responsibility for any activities before and after the Prom.


7. Students arriving impaired at the Prom, will be immediately sent home at the parent/guardian’s expense.
